For those attending our in-person worship service, please note that we have a mask-optional policy for the main worship service. The Sunday school classes will also be mask-optional. We do ask that you please refrain from attending service if you feel unwell or have any COVID-related symptoms.

2025 CFC Theme: Back to Basics

Our church's theme for 2025 is Back to Basics.

A major part of going back to the basics is prioritizing our personal devotions and Bible reading.  If you are looking for a Bible reading plan for the New Year, we recommend the Navigator's 5x5x5 reading plan which goes through the entire New Testament in one year.  If you are interested in other plans, here are some others to consider

wednesday evening prayer meeting

As part of our efforts to go back to the basics, we want to encourage our people to prioritize our individual and corporate times of prayer.

Come join us every Wednesday evening from 8-9 pm in the lower sanctuary as we intercede for our church and others.

40 Day Fast Leading up to Easter

Wednesday, March 7 marks the beginning of the Lent season. While we do not typically observe Lent out of obligation in the Reformed Christian tradition, our church has historically treated this season as an extra opportunity to encourage our people to seek the Lord in devoted prayer and fasting as we look forward to and ready our hearts for Easter Sunday.

For 40 days (excluding Sundays) starting on March 11, we are asking people to help us form a continuous chain of fasting and prayer for our church.

Please sign-up below to participate.

2025 vision school

After a four year hiatus, the Vision School is returning this summer and registration is NOW OPEN!

We wanted our CFC families to be the first to be notified as we anticipate that the classes will fill up quickly.

For information about the program and registration, please see the Vision School Registration letter linked below.

If you have any questions, please contact Linda Kim.

Partnering in the Great Commission

We praise God that Hannah safely returned from her missions trip to Malaysia, where she testified of God’s goodness, worshipped with refugee children, evangelized at a soup kitchen, and deepened relationships with her RUF community.  We praise God that Hannah returned with a renewed conviction to build Christ’s Kingdom, and not her own.  She created an awesome recap video, and we encourage you to watch it!  Thank you for praying for our sister, Hannah!

Easter weekend services

We will be having a Good Friday service on 4/18 at 7PM.  On Easter Sunday, 4/20, a group of local churches will be gathering for a Sunrise Service at 7AM at the Eagle Rock Reservation.  Our Easter service will be held at our normal time of 9:30AM but please note that it will be an all-family worship service (there will be NO Sunday School or CYJ).

If anyone is interested in being baptized or having their child baptized on Easter Sunday, please email Pastor James for information about our baptism class.
